Saudi Aramco NAUG System B

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) awarded a $500 million contract to SNC-Lavalin to build the second phase of its shale gas development in Turaif,

The second phase, System B, will include processing facilities, wellheads and pipelines, and add 200 million standard cubic feet a day (scf/d) of gas capacity.

Japan’s JGC Corporation is currently building System A, which will add nearly 70 million scf/d.

Gas will be sent via pipeline from Turaif to the Waad al-Shamal power plant, which is currently under construction.

McWilliam Windsocks supplied a complete set of windsock masts, swivels, and windsocks for the System B project through SNC-Lavalin, adding another major portfolio project from Saudi Aramco to the McWilliam Windsocks project book.

A total of 55nos windsocks, swivel hoops, and masts were supplied and installed for the project. McWilliam Windsocks went through a rigorous vendor qualification process and worked closely with SNC-Lavalin to provide the best solution for the Aramco project.

McWilliam Windsocks continues to support the project to this day.
